Profile

At FloForm, product design is not just our job it is our passion. With over 17 years component design experience and working in consumer products markets has refined our skill set. Collaboration between Floform and our clients help develop products made of sheet metal, plastic injection molding, rotomolding, thermal forming, machined billet parts, cast and die cast metals, electromechanical components. We service clients within consumer products, automotive, aviation, material handling, manufacturing fixturing and other industries. FloForms` staff fully understands that in the fast paced world of product development, speed is a necessity. We are structured to be rapid and responsive while maintaining a goal focused attitude for our customers.

Our design theory is that beautiful product begins with a great idea formed into a clean functional product sculpted to reflect our customer's desires. Our core values of design are: Striking appearance should begin inside and extend to the surface, Strength and durability, Reliability, Manufacturability based on product volume, Product cost and Ethically Responsible engineering. We proactively set deliverables to meet FloForm and customers values.

Initial concept work can be done to help give our customer vision into their final product. Industrial design is reflected though out the device with the goal to aid our customer with product line branding and matching their end user experiences. Ideas of symmetry, visual balance and style are used for transforming our customers ideas to 3D appearance models.

Parts and assemblies are accurately developed as one central working unit to ensure fit and strength. We feel that each component must structurally add to the entire product for efficiency where possible. To aid in cutting edge product development and be environmentally responsibility,it is important to not waste material all components must provide return to the product. Our innovative development tools include ProEngineer/Creo2.0, Creo Style/ISDX, FEA, DOE, Lean Six Sigma design and KeyShot.

Manufacturing volumes help drive the design and assembly of the product/device. Design for Manufacturing is done with our suppliers for flawless execution of our customers` product needs from prototypes to production parts/assemblies. Questions such as alignments, fasteners and assembly testing are answered and converged back into the design. As a result, we use our engineering principals and talents to not just give an outer form but to fully detail and deliver the product.

Once the product has been tested and verified by our customers, strategies for sourcing are created to the customers goals. Assembly, packaging and shipping can all be coordinated for our customers. Global relationships with manufacturing firms allow FloForm to support our clients with prototypes, samples and production parts and tooling.
